BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (KYSS FM) – The National Entrepreneurial Development Division (NEDD), the business support unit of the Ministry of International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, is on a mission to help develop the Micro Small and Medium Enterprise sector (MSME).
In order to achieve this, NEDD has planned a series of community business meetings which will take place over the next several months.
These meetings, which form part of the Division’s strategy to foster the development of the sector, are intended to engage potential and existing entrepreneurs in discussions regarding the successful establishment and continued operation of their businesses.
Presentations will be made by the personnel of the Division along with representatives of Business Support Organisations.
These presentations will provide an overview of the technical assistance offered by the Division which includes business plan writing, incentives/duty free concessions and finance sourcing.
The first in this series of meetings is scheduled for Thursday 19th, April 2018 at the Old Road Community Center at 6:30 pm.
While all members of the public are invited to attend and participate, residents of Old Road and surrounding areas particularly are invited to attend this first session.
NEDD has indicated that follow up meetings in other communities around the Federation will soon be announced.
