Boris Johnson defeated again; no snap UK election
Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s plans to lead the United Kingdom out of the European Union are in crisis.
His proposal to hold a snap election before the Brexit deadline of October 31 has been voted down.
MPs also passed a bill blocking the possibility of a ‘no-deal’ exit from the EU.
This means Johnson may have to go back to the EU to ask for an extension, reducing the possibility of the UK exiting the EU without a deal.
