Fire destroys legal office tied to Nevis Premier
St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Chief Everette O’Garro has confirmed that investigations are ongoing in relation to an early morning fire in Charlestown, Nevis, today, July 31.
“I can confirm that the Charlestown Fire Unit responded to a report of a fire at the offices of Daniel, Brantley and Associates, on Main Street, Charlestown, at 5:05 a.m.” O’Garro confirmed.
“Fire destroyed a room in the back where a library was located and there was severe heat and smoke damage, as a result of the fire,” the Fire Chief added.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The structure was said to house the legal offices associated with the Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley.
