Firemen put out Redi Fried Chicken fire in quick speed

Swift action by the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services led to the speedy containment of a fire in the popular Redi Fried Chicken restaurant, on the Bay Road Basseterre, earlier today (September 26).

Fire Chief Everette O’Garro said his men were able to control the fire in about twenty minutes.

He also indicated that investigations are still ongoing but his department has some ideas as to what may have caused the fire.

The Fire and Rescue officers were commended for their speedy response by member of the public.
