The complete roster for the St. Kitts Music Festival 2019 has been revealed during a press conference at the Ocean Terrace Inn, earlier this morning, January 28.
Three other major headliners were revealed in the process- Ella Mai, Charly Black and Shal Marshall.
The line up showcases a production heavy on soca but one that was designed to suit the taste of all patrons, according to Chairman of the Musical Festival Selection Committee Jonel Powel.
St. Kitts Music Festival Chairman Damian Hobson had earlier expressed delight at having the entire line up revealed so early in the year. This is the earliest the schedule has been completely disclosed so early in the 23 year history of the festival, according to the event’s organizers.
Thursday night, June 27, features Edwin Yearwood and Krosfyah, Charly Black , Farmer Nappy, Shal Marshall, Sugar Band (Nu Vybes), Small Axe Band and a number of other artistes.
Friday night, June 28, features French Montana, Popcaan, Davido, Cocoa Tea, Infamus, Imark and La Insuperable.
The final night- June 29- has Smokey Robinson, Ella Mai, Mapy, Omari Banks, Melanin and Buju Banton.
The three nights of entertainment showcases 26 artistes- 8 of who are local acts.
