BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (KYSSFM) – A second person has been charged in the fatal shooting incident that occurred at Taylor’s Village on May 30.
On Monday Antonio Pascal, also known as “Gravel”, of Lower Shaw Avenue, Basseterre was formally arrested and charged on three warrants: for the murder of a 17-year-old male and for the attempted murder of a 15-year-old male and Antonio Lestrade (19 years old).
Shock and horror permeated the Federation when it was revealed two days earlier on June 16 that a 16-year old also received the same charges in the matter. This is the third juvenile this year to be charged in connection with a homicide.
More people are likely to be charged in connection with this crime as police indicated initially that the house in Taylor’s Village was stormed by four attackers.
Jamoy Stapleton, a third former at Basseterre High School was gunned down in front the home trying to escape while his 15-year old schoolmate was shot in the chest. He survived following major surgery as did the third victim who was shot in the elbow.
