BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (KYSS FM) – The staff of yet another government agency is being affected by environment health threats.
The CCTV division within the Charlestown Police Station has reportedly been abandoned due to an infestation of mould.
For months, employees have registered complaints about the conditions of their work space.
A decision was subsequently taken to send staff home after conditions worsened with some persons falling terribly ill.
The Nevis Islands Administration is currently looking into the matter.
Meanwhile, government departments on St. Kitts have also been affected by mould and other major health threats.
A list of affected intuitions are Burdon Street Campus of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC), and its Division of Technical Vocational Education and Management Studies located on Horsford’s Road, the Department of Labour and the Ministry of Tourism on Port Zante.
