Police Commissioner Queeley to be OECS ambassador to Morocco
St. Kitts and Nevis’ Commissioner of Police Ian Queeley has formally tendered his letter of retirement from the Police Force after nearly 35 years as a law enforcement officer and is set to be the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) first Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco based in Rabat.
This was disclosed by the Office of the Prime Minister.
The revelation comes after veteran journalist Erasmus Williams had reported about the move weeks earlier.
Hilroy Brandy has been Acting Commissioner of Police since late last year (2018) while Queeley has been on leave.
Meanwhile, it is being reported that Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris left the Federation on Wednesday, July 24, for Morocco.
There has not been any announcement in relation to this from the Office of the Prime Minister.
