Police investigation sudden death of woman in Bourryeaux area
Police say they are investigating the sudden death of a Bouryeaux, St. Kitts, woman, who was found dead in her home.
The woman is popularly referred to as Mrs. York, according to multiple sources.
“At about 6:30 p.m., a neighbor of the deceased contacted the Police after attempts to contact the elderly woman failed. Upon arriving to the scene, Police observed the elderly woman lying motionless on her kitchen floor,” authorities revealed.
The statement from the Police also refutes allegations that the deceased was found tied up.
The age of the victim has not been disclosed.
Meanwhile, initial reports from the Police suggest that 33 year old Cleon Dore, alias “Clicks”, who was the victim in an accident yesterday, June 17, in Nevis, died as a result of injuries to his head.
“The accident took place at approximately 8:30 a.m. and involved motor jeep P 1206 which was driven by Glennette Williams of Butlers and motorcycle RA 356 driven by Cleon Dore of Butlers,” the Police report states.
“Circumstances are that Dore was travelling from Gingerland to Charlestown and when he got in the vicinity of Brown Pasture, he overtook a passenger bus and collided into motor jeep P 1206 which was travelling in the opposite direction,” the statement concluded.
There are reports that the victim was crushed by the by the jeep after he thrown under it once his scooter fell.
The deceased was a popular personality with motorbikes in the federation. There are unconfirmed reports that state he was the victim of an accident about a year ago. He spent some time in the Alexandria Hospital because of his injuries but was able to recover, persons familiar with victim revealed.
