Police officer injured in Independence morning crash
A Police officer, Dwayne Sabin, who resides in Ottley’s Village, was fortunate to escape with just a fractured wrist and a minor injuries to his face after the vehicle he was driving crashed into the entry area of the FLOW Headquarters, in Kittstoddart.
“The accident occurred at about 7 a.m. on September 19, 2019, and involved R259, which is owned by Courtesy Car Rental and was being driven by Dwayne Sabin of Ottleys Village. Enquiries so far have revealed that Sabin was heading towards the round-about when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a section of the entrance at FLOW’s Headquarters,” the Police report stated.
He was taken to the Joseph N France Hospital in a Police vehicle.
There were a number of reported accidents throughout St. Kitts and Nevis and the Traffic Department continues to encourage motorists to drive with due care and attention.
