The St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots claimed their third victory for the 2019 Caribbean Premier League, in a thrilling Super over performance, over the Trinbago Knight Riders last night, September 17.
Captain Carlos Brathwaite was superb as he walloped 17 of his side’s 18 runs in the super over and then restricted the Knight Riders to five for one in the deciding over.
Earlier, Trinbago Knight Riders posted an impressive 216 for 4 off their 20 overs.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots responded with 216 for 7, with Brathwaite top scoring with 64 from just thirty balls.
