St. Kitts and Nevis to send largest delegation to CARIFESTA
St. Kitts and Nevis will be fielding its largest delegation ever at CARIFESTA in Trinidad Tobago from August 16 to 26. This was disclosed by the Director of Culture Troy Mills, earlier today, August 13.
The venture comes at with a half a million dollar price tag, to be footed by government.
Mills indicated that among the objectives of the trip are the showcasing of local culture to an extensive market, building networks and to observing of best practices throughout the region.
The Director of Culture provided some information on the make-up of the delegation.
St. Kitts Carnival Chairman Noah Mills also expressed pleasure with the opportunity for local staples of the carnival to be showcased in Trinidad and Tobago.
