Prime Minister Keith Rowley who completed one set of medical tests on Wednesday, has to do two more sets of tests tomorrow and next Monday.
And after that he’ll have a good idea of his health situation. That was the word yesterday from acting Prime Minister Colm Imbert, at Thursday’s post-Cabinet media briefing.
Imbert gave a status report on Rowley who left for California on Carnival Tuesday for a check-up on his heart.
Doctors found soft arterial plaque which was observed in 2016 had gotten bigger last month. Rowley was told this required immediate attention. He has admitted he was delinquent with dealing with the matter due to work.
Imbert said Rowley underwent a series of tests in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Imbert said Rowley is going to another part of California on Saturday for a second set of tests. Rowley will also have a third set of tests next Monday. “He’s advised me that after the results of the three sets of tests are in, he’ll have a good idea of his situation.”
