Two men who lost at sea home and doing well
Two fishermen- Carlos Jimenez and Ismael Vincente Lorenzo- both of Bath Village Nevis, who were missing at sea for about two days are back home safely.
The two men were returned to the Federation by the St. Kitts and Nevis Coast Guard, on April 13.
Police confirmed that the two men were found on April 12 and were initially in the care of authorities from the nearby island of Saba.
The circumstances that led to them being lost and how they were eventually found are not yet known.
In their initial report, Police stated that both men were last seen at the Charlestown Pier, at around 10 A.M. They left to go fishing on a blue and white fishing boat named “GOD.” The registration number for the boat was V4-394-CH. The men were set to return in the afternoon and were reported missing later that night by a family member after attempts to communicate with the fishermen failed.
The condition of the vessel they were travelling on is not known.
