UK legislators seize Brexit agenda in bid to break deadlock
British MPs have voted to take control of the Brexit agenda, away from the government.
It is another crushing blow to Prime Minister Theresa May.
She will be forced to hand over control to Parliament on Wednesday, and MPs will then try and work out a way forward.
They’ll debate on a raft of measures ranging from a “softer” Brexit to another referendum on whether to leave the European Union.
May says the move sets an ‘unwelcome precedent’ – and it could cost her everything.
