The fastest man that has ever lived is about to become a dad.
Usain Bolt, who became the first man to win three consecutive Olympic gold medals in the 100m and 200m, is a short time away from another first.
On Thursday, his fiancé, Kasi Bennett, posted on her Instagram page pictures of herself in an advanced stage of pregnancy with the caption “Our golden child…coming soon.”
Bolt also posted a picture of his beautiful partner with the caption “I just want to say a king or queen is about to be here.”
It is not clear when the child is due.
Bolt captivated the world for a decade setting world records in the 100m and 200m and winning gold medals at the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
In 2009, he set world records of 9.58s and 19.19 at the World Championships in Berlin, Germany. Those records still stand today.
Bolt retired following the 2017 World Championships in London, England and has since turned his focus to business interests.
