Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A dominant and stationary high
pressure system will continue to influence a tightened pressure gradient
resulting in a strong trade wind flow across the area and elevated seas. The
strong winds will push pocket of low level moisture and cloud patches across
the islands; therefore partly cloudy skies and a moderate chance of showers
are expected to prevail across Puerto Rico southward to Trinidad to Tobago.
However, instability associated with a low level trough could increase the
chance of showers across the southern Windward Islands and Trinidad and
Tobago tonight.
