Winds: East-southeasterly with speeds ranging between 6 to 14
mph, with lighter spells at times.
Seas: Long period swells of moderate height with surfs breaking at
1.8 to 2.4 metres or 6 to 8 feet. Therefore, an advisory remains
in effect for sea bathers against rough surf conditions and
rip currents.
Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis:
Weather today: Sunny to partly sunny skies along with hazy
conditions and a 30 percent or a low chance of showers this morning
and a 50 percent or a moderate chance of showers this afternoon with
a slight chance of a thunderstorm.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy and slightly hazy with a
60 percent or a moderate chance of showers and thunderstorms
mainly after midnight.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Hurricane Leslie just north of the
Eastern Caribbean will generate some unstable conditions across the
islands. A surge of moisture being pulled in from the south coupled
with daytime heating effects will likely see cloudy spells and showers
and also the possibility of thunderstorms developing across the area.
Leslie also continues to propagate rough swells to our sea shores thus
maintaining hazardous sea conditions for sea bathers for the forecast
