Weather Tonight: Partly cloudy with a 40 percent or a moderate chance of
some light showers.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A prefrontal trough over the Northern
Caribbean along with some available moisture will heighten the chance of
showers under cloudy skies over Puerto Rico while tonight a dry and stable
airmass building over the area will limit shower activity under partly cloudy
skies. Meanwhile, some weak moisture and instability lingering over the
Southern Caribbean will trigger some light showers over Trinidad and Tobago
and the Southern Windward Islands. The rest of the Eastern Caribbean from
the Virgin Islands east to the Leeward Islands and south to the Northern
Windwards will remain under a ridge of high pressure along with a stable
airmass and hence the chance of showers will remain low under partly sunny
skies today. Some weak instability and shallow moisture associated with a
weak trough and moving into the Leeward Islands tonight could trigger a
couple of light showers.
