Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: A light to gentle
windflow due to a weak pressure gradient will result in a warm and
uncomfortable environment across the islands today. An airmass
low on moisture and instability will also continue to restrict shower
activity. However, later tonight and overnight, some shallow
moisture moving into the area will increase the chance of showers
Weather Today: Sunny to partly sunny with a 20 percent or slight
chance of showers.
Weather Tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a 40 percent or
moderate chance of showers.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A mid to upper level trough
along with some shallow available moisture will cause some
unsettled weather conditions over Puerto Rico and the US Virgin
Islands today. Therefore, mostly cloudy skies are expected over the
islands today with a high chance of showers and a low chance of
thunderstorms. The trough shifting west of the islands tonight will
result in a stable airmass and a low chance of showers under partly
cloudy skies. Meanwhile, a dry and stable airmass sitting over the
rest of the Eastern Caribbean from the British Virgin Islands south
to Trinidad and Tobago will result mostly partly sunny skies with a
slight chance of showers today. Later tonight some advection of
shallow moisture into the area will result in some cloudy spells and
a moderate chance of showers.
